I am Assistant Professor in the Multimedia Lab of the Signal Processing department of Telecom Paris.
Teaching
I teach to Master of Engineering students in M2R Multimedia Networking (AV Transport and Content security) as well as in 1st year multidisciplinary projects PACT, PAF and ARTEFACT.
I act as scientific contact for various students projects and internships, please contact me for further details.
I give corporate trainings through Telecom Paris, with sessions mostly focused on Digital TV, Mobile TV, Video over IP and 3D TV.
Research
My research topics cover multimedia systems architecture, from authoring, coding and transmission to composition and rendering of interactive, animated contents mixing audio, video, text, images and dynamic meta-data. A list of my publications is available here.
I am the creator and project leader of GPAC, an open-source multimedia plateform providing many tools for interactif content creation, packaging, distribution and playback.
I follow the MPEG standardization body since Septembre, 2000 as an editor of various standards and developer of other various reference and utility softwares.
